Webflow
Connect your Webflow CMS collection to OrganicPilot to publish articles directly from the dashboard. Follow the steps below to set up the integration.
1. Create an API token in Webflow
In Webflow, open your site and go to Site settings (or the site’s gear icon) → Apps & integrations → API access. Click Generate API token (or Create token). Give the token a name (e.g. “OrganicPilot”).
Required permissions
When creating the token, enable CMS Read and CMS Write. Without these, OrganicPilot cannot read your collection or create new items. If you see an error like “missing scopes - cms:read”, create a new token with both permissions.
2. Get your Collection ID
In the Webflow Designer, open the CMS panel and select the collection you want to publish to (e.g. your Blog or Posts collection). Click the collection Settings (gear icon). You will see Collection ID — copy it (it looks like 580e63fc8c9a982ac9b8b745). This is the collection where OrganicPilot will create new items.
3. Collection requirements
Your Webflow collection should have at least:
- Name — used for the article title (standard in Webflow).
- Slug — used for the URL (standard in Webflow).
- A Rich Text field for the article body (e.g. “Post Body” or “Content”). The default slug OrganicPilot uses is
post-body. If your field has a different slug, you can set it in the integration form.
4. Connect in OrganicPilot
In OrganicPilot go to Dashboard → Integrations, open Webflow, and click Connect Webflow. In the form:
- API Token — Paste the token you created in Webflow (Site settings → API access).
- Collection ID — Paste the Collection ID from your Webflow collection settings.
- Body field slug (optional) — Leave as
post-bodyunless your Rich Text field has a different slug in Webflow. - Post mode — Choose whether new items should be created as Draft or Publish (live) in Webflow.
Click Test connection to verify the token and collection, then click Connect to save.
5. After connecting
When you publish content from OrganicPilot (e.g. from Content History or the article view), the article will be sent to your Webflow collection as a new item. You can test the connection anytime from Integration Settings, and switch the integration on or off without removing it.
